Public documents reveal a number of connections between a new building company and individuals associated with Henry Construction
Companies House records show that Boulevard Construction is controlled by Sean Dundon, the brother-in-law of Mark Henry and several of its projects involve companies associated with his wife
Henry Construction collapsed in 2023, leaving five unfinished projects in Ealing, including Dean Gardens, which Ealing Council is seeking to demolish. Administrators estimated that the company left debts of more than £40 million. Legal action by the administrators of the Henry Construction against the members of the Henry family seeking to recoup £31 million continues.
The collapse of Henry Construction happened several years after the demise of Lancsville Construction which was wound up in 2018 leaving debts of more than £30 million. The director of Lancsville, Mark Henry, went on to establish Henry Construction.
Mark Henry’s name does not appear in documents associated with Boulevard although he is cc-d in letters from Boulevard to Uttlesford District Council. The business address used by Boulevard in the 2024 letters is the same address Mark Henry uses on Companies House.
Boulevard has denied having any connection to Henry Construction, the Henry family or the companies they own.
